Air France A380 loses three tyres after safely landing at Mexico City

An Air France A380, registration F-HPJA from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Mexico City, had three tyres deflated after safely landing on Mexico City’s runway 05R on June 14th 2017, reported The Aviation Herald.

Fight AF179 was cancelled due to lack of spare tyres at MEX and both passengers and flight crew layover time was extended. Flight AF179A departed at 01:29am CDT on June 16th after being on ground for more than 33 hours.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the possible cause of the incident.
